I was surprised at the carpeting in the stairs to the rooms from the lobby, it was so dirty needs steam cleaned. Our power went out the first morning for hours not the hotels fault but when we got back to our room late that evening the smoke detector in hallway was beeping. We had to call multiple times to try to get the clerk desk clerk to replace the battery. There was no battery at the hotel and she wanted us to listen to that beeping all night. I refused and finally, she had to DoorDash a battery and then my husband Had to replace it in the smoke detector. The desk clerk did the best that she could at the time because her supervisor did not give her access to the room where the batteries are kept. Completely not acceptable stop. In the morning I mentioned to the Manager that I wanted compensation for what happened and she got rude with me and told me not to be rude. I am a paying customer that did not want to hear a smoke detector beeping all night not an unreasonable request. We did not get to sleep until after 1 am as the battery was not delivered until 12:30.
I have never had an experience like this. If the lobby carpet gets cleaned I’m sure it would make a huge difference on the appearance when arriving and going to your room.
