PROs- Beautiful small hotel, great VIEWS, nature, delicious breakfast, terrace/patio options to eat ( beautiful) quiet around the area, great customer service, clean, amenities , sauna, jacuzzi options, balcony with hammock always a plus! Mini fridge inside ( beverages not included) Close to the town, variety of places to eat around the area , family friendly hotel, safe around the area, lots of foreigners in the hotel (im Colombian, so it made me happy to see people from other countries visiting our beautiful country :) Beautiful weather,hot during the day chilly at night CONs- when i booked this hotel no one mention in the reviews that this hotel is right across of a cemetery ( nervous laugh haha) I freaked out a little but its not that serious i guess. The Water was shut down i believe after 9pm and didn’t come back until morning ( also not a big deal, i just feel like they should notify guests. I brushed my teeth with a water bottle they offered in the room. I had showered before too so that was ok ! Water coming back early morning made some loud and strange sounds so it scared me a little bit haha . I brought a car , parking space is not inside the hotel and it only has like 2 spots available in front of the hotel (to keep in mind)Mosquitoes everywhere so be prepared to bring your bug repellent! They left me so many love bites haha! Overall - I would deff come back and spend more time here . We only stayed for 1 night. Nature views and breakfast 10/10 ❤️

The hotel area is very beautiful, but the room we stayed in wasn’t the greatest. The hot tub was cold and we couldn’t use it. Plus we could hear all the kitchen noise at 6 am. Unfortunately they wouldn’t change the room. I liked the hotel facilities and sauna, staff was friendly too, but the room was disappointing

Lovely place to stay. Everyone was super helpful and lovely. Breakfasts were delicious. Everything was great. Maybe ceiling fans might be a good idea for the hotter weather.

Solento is a beautiful town and the property is located just outside of the main part. We felt very safe walking into town and to several places close by. Luis was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great. Highly recommend Bumi restaurant which is close by and the tour of Kasaguadua nature reserve (also close by). I would suggest a room on the 2nd floor if in the building closest to the road. There is not a lot of sound proofing in the rooms, but a minor thing in an overall wonderful stay.

Too much noise from creaking floors in the room, hard to sleep. Breakfast was not good. Very expensive compared to comparative hotels in the area.

B-E-S-T Hotel in Salento Area!
The photos are perfect, and give you the atmosphere, attitude, and attention this hotel will show you from the moment you arrive at their front door to the second you leave. AMAZING. Superb location -- a nice 10 minute walk to the main plaza. Incredible staff -- there is NO ask they cannot address, and their attention to your comfort and needs is endless. They arranged each and every item and event we asked and more. Comfortable and cozy rooms -- balconies and hammocks, soft bedding, HOT showers, great decor, etc. You cannot be unhappy there. First-rate breakfast -- each dish delicious, made to order, and presented expertly. All in all... we LOVED this place and will be returning very soon for another life recharge!

Excellent choice
Home away from home. Lovingly tended gardens, great views, hot tubs and sauna, and the most wonderful staff. Individually prepared breakfasts were outstanding. Room was great- roomy, with a nice shower, ample towels, comfy bed. We were sick part of the time. Luis- who is a tremendous bilingual asset- made sure we were attended to, arranged a good doctor, and generally looked after us with the rest of the team. Easy walk 10 min across the footbridge to town, with a couple of nice restaurants even closer. Highly recommend.

The perfect place to stay in Salento
Terasu hotel is the perfect place to stay while in Salento. The hotel has incredible views, a delicious breakfast every morning, the staff is so helpful and friendly, and the hotel is just a short 5 minute walk into town.

The location in relation to the city center. The views, the attention from staff is A . This embodies a true eco retreat feel and if I’m back this is the hotel of choice. Very close to all attractions. I had a great relaxing stay.

This hotel is a gem
Amazing hotel, perfectly located if you want to hike the Cocora valley. Once you’ve done that, you chill in the jacuzzis at the hotel which is also very appreciable. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and modern. Amazing views, in a peaceful neighborhood. Staff is absolutely delightful.

This was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful grounds, clean and comfortable room (with a hammock on the deck!) and delicious breakfast. The staff were wonderful and the hot tub was a nice amenity during the mild Salento evenings.

The place was clean and located only 8 minutes (walking) from the main square. The rooms were comfortable. The best part of our stay was the friendly staff (Cristian in particular was very welcoming and helpful).

Decent option in Salento
Good location on the edge of main centre, about 8 min walk from main square. Safe neighbourhood. Rooms are fairly modern, comfortable bed with Netfix on TV. Nice hammock on the balconies. Breakfast was decent and fast. Service was disappointing. Not helpful in trying to arrange taxis to Cocora Valley and most disappointing when we arrived back after a coffee tour we found the staff removing our bags from our room despite arriving well before check-out time. This is unacceptable and lose trust in the staff accessing the room without our consent. Very unprofessional.

Un séjour paisible
Très belle hotel bien situé à Salento avec une belle vue en étant sur la terrasse, et une verdure et un calme qui rendent l'endroit paisible. Le service et la propreté sont parfaits. Le seul petit bémol ce serait le lit un peu petit en longueur mais sinon la chambre est confortable et avec un hamac! Encore merci pour l'accueil !

The place was very nice and the staff were friendly and pleasant except that when I asked for a fan they told me to wait because they only had one for the whole facility 🤔and also there was a damp wall inside the restaurant.

My stay at Terasu Hotel was amazing, definitely exceeded my expectations and if I am again in Salento for sure I am going to stay there. Spend there my birthday this and this was a great decision. Hotel is very conveniently located, close from the downtown, but at the same time in a more calm area which allows you to rest. Free paring and internet. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. They event organized a small gift for my birthday, which was so kind. They are going above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable (e.g. I had to work during my stay and they were offering me free coffee without even me asking).

This hotel and its staff was a GEM! Where to start? * It is a small boutique style hotel that is super cute. Both the buildings and the garden is extremely well taken care of. * Natalia was the person we dealt with all the time and she was FANTASTIC. Very professional, friendly, helpful, sweet... Honestly, it is hard to imagine our stay there without her. She was lovely. She goes out of her way to make you happy during your stay. For example: We arrived just when it started pouring down, so she had us go to our room first and did the check in later for our convenience. Since it was pouring down raining, she sent us a couple of dinner options from restaurants and ordered the food for us. * The room is not huge but everything is well thought of. You have a mini fridge, a hammock and 2-3 comfortable seats, hair-dryer, very nice shampoos/conditioners etc. Really an amazing value you get for the price you pay. * Breakfast has some variety you can choose from and is very well done and presented very nicely. You are pretty full and satisfied. * They do not have plastic bottles etc which I appreciated. They provide water for you to fill up your reusable bottle. I loved that this was available. * The location is excellent. You are 10min walking distance to the plaza (which probably gets loud at night) in a quiet area. Overall, I would go back to Salento and to this hotel in a heartbeat!

This is a fantastic place to stay. We didn’t book in time so instead of a five night stay, it was only 2 nights. The views from the terrace are very good, rooms and bathrooms beds were very comfortable and clean. Really seems like THE place to stay in Solento!!
