Fairmont Royal York

Fairmont Royal York

10/10 Excellent
"Pool area very user friendly. Lots of towels and a sitting area. Did not like the bed pillow, I like a firm pillow, even using 3 pillows did not give the desired comfort."

"They claim to have soundproofed rooms. When entering the hallway to the room, there was a sign saying something to the effect that "sound travels, so be quiet for those in their rooms recharging". Not sure why that's needed if the rooms were actually soundproofed. From my soundproofed room, I could hear doors closing in the hallways, housekeeping vacuuming next door, all street noise. I have stayed in many hotel rooms that don't make the claim frivolously, this is not one of them. Else, all was good... very friendly and attentive staff, good breakfasts. I'll stay elsewhere next time though."
