"Staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and very updated. The hotel was adorable and the area was quiet. I love a good boutique hotel. The only disappointing thing was that we did not have a record player and some vinyl in our room. It looked like every room had that on the website and we did not. But everything else was fantastic."

"The king suite was perfect for our stay. The room description did not include the fact that there were TVs in both rooms and a half bath separate from the bedroom bathroom, which was large and modern. All of the finishes and decor top notch."

"The 1 Hotel is wonderful. Staff is friendly and the rooms and amenities therein are well thought out. The only knocks would be the noise if you have a room facing Bathurst (we did and were moved the next day), the inordinate amount of time it takes for their 1 Kitchen restaurant to prepare ANYTHING, and the loud music thumping in theoir fine dining restaurant Casa Madera (we left as it was too loud to speak). Otherwise, this a a wonderful spot, with GREAT staff"
