A few minutes to the ferry to cross the Mersey to Liverpool, a few minutes longer to the tunnel to cross for the Isle of Man. A very short drive to New Brighton for lots of places to eat."

"Staff at breakfast all seemed subdued and only very few interacted with guests. The choice of breakfast was minimal. In comparison with other hotels it was just about acceptable. Some of the seats were uncomfortable due to ware and tear. Ended up sitting on the frame rather than the leather clad seat cushion. The hallways were very dark and the room itself did not have adequate central lighting. The shower was a weak waterfall style shower with out a hose for extra use. I found the concierge...
