"The courtyard was beautiful and relaxing especially at night. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Being able to have breakfast on site was a nice way to start the morning at a slower pace. It was a bit noisy but that is to be expected based on the location. "

"This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It felt like a tropical oasis but was only a block over from Duval. Wine tasting room was great and the hotel cat, Lucy, was the sweetest! Breakfast each morning was amazing! We would definitely stay here again when we come back to visit!"

"The property was in a good location and the rooms were visibly clean. We had issues with the lack of privacy- the first couple rooms are right by the entrance and where breakfast is set up. The breakfast was right along the wall of our room so we could hear guests early in the morning. Also for the price the bathrooms are quite small and very outdated, could use a renovation. The staff was lovely and did their best to be accommodating."

The first 2 days were nice, we had a beautiful view from our balcony but the following 2 days we had cruise ships blocking our entire view. I never saw one thing about it in any of the information! If so, I would have never stayed there! The second disappointment was their spa. It is not located on the property where the Opal is located. It's across, on an island, in their sister property. "We stayed for three nights and it was a great place. The room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the pool. It’s a great location, within walking distance of everything. Brandy was very helpful and accommodating, making sure everything went well with our stay. Would definitely come back again."

"Beautiful property. Loved looking at all the different plants. Close to a bus line that runs through key west for easy access to all areas of the island, even other areas of the lower keys. We ended up getting there later than the office was open (closes at 7), but I called ahead of time and they had no problem making arrangements for an after-hours check-in. "
