"The staff were fantastic very friendly, polite and extremely helpful. The room was perfect with a great view of the harbour. The whole hotel was neat and tidy with everything you would need for a great stay. The restaurant has a sea view and the food was perfect. The breakfast is a must a full help yourself buffet with everything you could possibly want and more! Also the hotel has a large car park. I highly recommend this place! "

"Fantastic stay at the Hampshire Hog. 2 x nights 24th &25th April 2024 Staff extremely friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t eat in the evening, but breakfast was very nice, choice of full English breakfast, fruit, and lots of options, which were all good quality. The room was huge, we stayed in room 14. Reception advised whatever was in the room drink or food was ours foc. Well, there was 2 large bottles of cider, 2 bags of crisps, good quality chocolate, artisan coffees, 2 bottles of water, and small bottle of milk, fantastic. Room as I say was huge, the bathroom was tired and needed some updating but was clean,there was a bit of mould around bath sealant and hot tap in sink was noisy. The bed mattress was of poor quality, no bed toppers available, but we solved it by using one of the blankets folded and laid under the sheet, which was much more comfortable. That aside we had a brilliant break, there was some confusion with payment (nothing to do with the hotel) but down to hotels.com. The lovely hotel receptionist, sorry can’t remember your name, but did everything she could to resolve. We will definitely stay here again."

"Staff and Property was excellent, super friendly, couldn’t do enough for you. Only issue was that when we looked up and booked our establishment and room choice, on Expedia’s website, we were offer a buffet Dinner and breakfast on the checkout day. So when we arrived and checked in at reception, we were informed that they do not provide and sort of dinner at all at there establishment. So spent 30 minutes on your virtual chat line talking to an agent, asking why we were mis-sold this half board reservation, only for you to admit that there was an error on your behalf, yet offer no form of compensation, as we then had to go out and get dinner elsewhere, at an additional cost to us ?, After more research the booking didn’t match the e-mail that you sent me as confirmation of our booking. Under the consumer protection regulations, the description on your email confirmation was misleading and due to this review provided, I feel that a contributing refund should be given towards our dinner expenses. Hotel reception were fantastic, and provided us with a free drink as they felt bad, and will be contacting you as well as this was really misleading ?, Awaiting your response ?"
