"Couldn't wish for a better welcome, hosts were exactly my cuppa - laid back and relaxed at all times. Looked after well before I even got to the site and enjoyed an unexpected upgrade. Very decent breakfast to set me up also. Hope to stay there again soon!"

"Beautiful pub with rooms and staff were outstanding. Our rooms were really well appointed and clean.
The food was good but we were a little underwhelmed with our meals. Salmon main dish was dripping in very salty miso and soy sauce. Restaurant was v busy and we were advised that there could be a wait for food.
Breakfasts were fantastic though we had to wait a ridiculously long time for our food on the second morning. Only one person serving and one chef creates quite a problem!

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes.
apparently the normal freezer had broken.
however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room
hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future.
the staff were excellent"

"The room was excellent. Bedroom, small area with easy chairs and kitchen units between bedroom and bathroom. all beatifully maintained. As there was no restaurant or breakfast provided, the kitchen could be useful,for self catering. but every drawer empty so bring your own equipment. There was a vending machine in the barn for food."

"The pub is friendly with good food and staff.
The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "

"Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!).
Breakfast was really high quality and ample. I will definitely look to stay again! Thank you!"

"The accommodation was easy to find & parking no problem. Hospitable host. It was perfect for us - we just stayed 1 night. Clean. Good kitchenette. Plenty of windows that open easily, so nice & light & airy. Bed comfortable. Shower not very powerful, but sufficient. Heaters in lounge & bedroom if needed.
Breakfast & fruit juice brought to your door & very tasty.
Would recommend & return. "

"Sian, the landlady is wonderful -- friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel's.com said there are laundry facilities but this is not true. BUT Sian did our laundry for us.
We stayed in the annex but no one who was mobility problems, or is tall or heavy should stay there -- it is difficult to maneuver under the low ceilings. "
