"Overall, I had a pleasant stay, but I was disappointed with the housekeeping policy regarding bed linen. The sheets were not changed daily, which is understandable, but I think changing them at least every two days would be much more appropriate for a hotel of this standard. On one occasion, I selected “Pass Cleaning” and later learned, unfortunately, that it happened to be the third day, when the sheets would normally have been changed. As a result, my bed linen ended up not being changed for five days. I didn’t specifically raise this with the staff at the time, and I believe they probably would have helped if I had asked. My concern is more about the system itself. Guests should be able to request room cleaning whenever they want, while bed linen should still be changed automatically every two days regardless of whether cleaning was skipped on a particular day. I think this small change would make the housekeeping experience much better."

"Middle Eight is a beautiful hotel ideally located for theatre visits, Covent Garden and the Embankment. Breakfast was superb with a lovely mix of cereals, pastries and a choice of hot food too, as well as continental meats and cheeses. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Our room was spacious and sound proofed! A lovely range of amenities in the room including beautiful thick dressing gowns and slippers, hair dryer and even an ironing board and iron! Highly recommend this hotel."

"The main building is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the adjacent building which is older but very nice. The location is perfect! The lighting in the room and bathroom isn't great. The staff is wonderful!"
