"1) The rooms were emacently clean and extremely spacious with a real home feel. 2) The friendly staff was super outgoing and very helpful. 3) The beach view was breath taken. 4) Breakfast was very good; however, I wished that there were more meat options."

"The staff are excellent. When we arrived, we were shown to a building with NO elevator. Because I have a neuromuscular disorder, I require an elevator. the staff switched us to such a building immediately. The staff at the buffet seated us near the buffet so my husband didn't have to bring my food far. Food was delicious with different foods every day. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a couch and chairs. The lanai was spacious with 2 chairs. The view was beautiful. The entertainment in the evening was delightful - amazing talents. Most wonderful is the friendly, helpful, and interesting people."

"When we checked in the room wasn't ready. It took 45 minutes to get settled and they gave what they said was an upgrade and $100 BDS credit. Nice room and it had a kitchen. Maid service was a bit unpredictable, the times we wanted it they just left us a bunch of towels. The restaurants we tried are the main bar (nachos, small portion, pretty sub standard), the italian place (great!), the fancy breakfast buffet (awful), and the coffee place (good ice cream, coffee was good but super pricey served by rude teenagers). The pools are lovely, but the beach had a ton of seaweed. They ran busses to a different beach for free. We drove to that alternate beach ourselves and got a wristband, and it was so pretty there. We did book one thing through the concierge and they were very helpful and polite. It's a nice resort and they do their best to maintain it, there are workers all over the place doing things, so you can tell they do invest in it to keep things in good shape. Staff mostly are polite and attempt to be helpful. A few are clueless, including the manager we encountered during check in. Overall, the biggest problem with Crane is the location. It is FAR away from other things. Driving in Barbados is sketchy, and downright dangerous at night time. So, take a taxi if you can't deal with that. Due to the location, I would not recommend this place. But if you like somewhere that more or less shuts down at 9pm then this is for you."

"We had an enjoyable time in Barbados and sort of mixed views on the hotel. The positives are that the staff are quite friendly, the rooms are very comfortable with solid AC and a nice shower, the hotel is clean and has a nice pool. Finally, I felt the food was good enough for a few days. The breakfast buffet is simple but good enough. I think the negative was that the hotel sits right on the main road and can be a bit loud. Furthermore, the pool is facing the street, although it has some privacy. It is worth noting that when we were there the nice beach across the street had a serious algae problem which seems to affect that part of the island. Obviously this has nothing to do with the hotel, but it would have been good to know. I don't know if this is a seasonal issue or not so do your research. Luckily, there is a very nice beach 10 minutes down the road which is certainly worth visiting. So, at first we were a bit disappointed with our selection, but by the time we left we were satisfied and felt the price/benefit was good. Next time I might want to pay more to stay at a hotel on the beach, although I spoke with people who attended the same conference I did who stayed at the Wyndam and they have the same algae problem and paid more the 2x what I paid. Overall, Barbados has amazing beaches and the people are quite friendly, so I would give the hotel a good to solid rating."

"We visited Barbados for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary and loved everything about our stay at Bougainvillea. The beachfront location, service, amenities, location, etc. were all incredible. We used public transportation the whole time and were within a 10-15 minute ZR bus ride of almost every major point of interest we wanted to visit (the Oistins fish market, west coast beaches, catamaran launch sites, and fine restaurants). The hotel’s well-maintained beach, water activities, live entertainment, etc. made our whole stay here remarkable."

"A fantastic small boutique hotel for adults only. All rooms face the ocean with a balcony. The food was very good à la carte choices. Great views from the dining area. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Linda was such a nice lady. Went out of her way to help. Great personal touch. The staff know your names and will always be there to help with anything you need or want to do on the island All the waitresses and bar staff were lovely. The beach is small but sun loungers are available. Can get drinks at the bar and take them out. Ideal hotel if you are wanting a quiet and relaxing time. There is a great boardwalk right outside which goes along the coast. Great for walking and there are bars and restaurants along there as well. Highly recommended"

"I will not go back this resort in future. Location and properties were good but the staffs are not friendly and some of them has attitude . Breakfast menu is almost the same everyday and most are deep fried and all food rich with oil. For the dinner, you have to make a reservation, you can not just go eat within time limit (not the buffet style)and need to set up the time , the menu is not much to choice. I stayed for a week but I am not enjoy their food compare to other Caribbean Island all inclusive resort. Night entertainment is totally boring , nothing excited and just one person sing the song. Wave all inclusive is not worth it what I paid for the price. More expensive than others but the service is not much what you paid. Beach is very small and water is always wavy can not enjoy in the water. the hotel is just next to the road and can hear the noise from local bus and car ."
