It is what people used to do all the time - small rooms, shared bath, and you go out to socialize. Convenient to the Whitney, Chelsea Market and fancy stores - I was smitten with this hotel that is more like a shipboard experience - and at half the price of most other nearby places. Not for everyone, but I liked it."
