"This hotel has a great location—splurge and get an ocean view room, you won’t regret it. Breakfast was a basic hotel breakfast, but I appreciate me the variety and having it available. If I could have changed anything about my stay, it would be to have had a hook for the towel next to the shower, a side table next to the easy chair and ottoman, and doors with a softer close (hearing slams all night was a bit irritating). "

"Surf Side Hotel is an amazing place to stay on the Outer Banks. Our room was clean and had a great ocean view. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The morning breakfast was really good and fresh. The wine and cheese social at 4:00 and the cookies at 8:00pm are a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again."
