"The price we paid was affordable for a vacation in the OBX. With that said hospitality, cleanliness and sanitary conditions should never be compromised. The room had sheets that were stained and had a bad odor. Water bugs and roaches came in at times. No housekeeping ever came during our 4 night stay. We drove 8 hours to get there so I didn't let sheets or unwanted visitors ruin my vacation. If I ever come to the beautiful OBX again I won't stay here I'll save up more money and go somewhere else. But if you can't afford a fancy hotel but still enjoy everything else OBX has to offer then bring your own sheets and a can of bug spray. Location is the only thing this place has to offer."

"Nevermind who's watching the kids in the pool area....who's minding the parents who use the spa for bathing their toddlers? With soap and massive bubbles/body dirt that they leave in the spa after bath is over. Yuck! "

"I can’t say enough positive things about this motel! The property is in the perfect location right on the beach and close to everything. The property has also been renovated, the rooms are nice, clean, and I loved all the outdoor seating and grills guests can use. I also loved that the property is so dog friendly and everyone who worked there is extremely helpful and friendly! This is definitely our new go-to spot for relaxation! I highly recommend!!!!"
