"The apartment was great with partial sea views. The communication was good. However the heater in the room was not working, and we communicated this but it was not fixed. The extractor in our bathroom was not working and there was a stuffy smell from the room. Otherwise overall the place was not bad"

"Our stay at Birkenhead House was the ultimate Hermanus retreat. From the warm, attentive team to the eclectic design and breathtaking floral displays, every detail left us feeling spoiled. Ideally situated steps from the beach and scenic walking routes, it was a paradise for nature lovers—complete with dozens of whale sightings, rich birdlife, and the striking indigenous flora of the Western Cape."

"Beautiful location and excellent hotel. The rooms has everything you would need and very clean. The staff are very friendly. The on premise restaurant is excellent and the dinner we had in the evening we arrived was excellent. Right along the sea front and the walks are so pleasant."

"The tent is amazing, very clean with everything you need. The Wi-Fi is really poor. Bit disappointed that there is no welcome food hamper, particularly as the shop closes at 5pm and the on site restaurant didn’t open. The hot tub was full of murky water and there wasn’t enough wood for the fire and the hot tub. Felt it was a little expensive. "
