Lovely hotel, great location

An out of season trip for whale watching. Early in the season so limited success there. Hotel was really clean and comfortable. The honeymoon sweet was lovely. Breakfast choice was nice and the distance from the centre was a 10min walk. The location is very good to the coastal walk.

Needs so much improvement but has potential

This is not a 100Euro a night hotel. For my stay and the room it was quite pricey and hence bringing forth certain expectations with the price. So, you don't really expect to find white florescent warehouse lighting next to your bedstand (night security guard did find new light bulbs) neither you want to have a fight with outlets so that you can charge your phone and other electronics. And one expects certain amenities to be readily available at this price range rather than to have to ask for them like slippers, like bathropes in a room that has a jacuzzi (although pumps were not working) and more than one small bottle of a shower gell for two people (luckily we had ours) or may a gesture so me bath salts if you have a room with a jacuzzi and may be a scale. and provided that this is a vacation town, may be prioritizing your guests and not your "conditions" and offer a breakfast later than 10 and something that one can really call a breakfast buffet at a nice, luxurious boutique hotel, not a breakfast buffet of a roadside motel; and perhaps a check out time later than 11:00!! I mean I would stay there again.. Only would hope that they do not cut corners as such and actually try to make you feel good that you have chosen this hotel.

Hermanus Breakaway

We had a wonderful stay, was a long weekend away. Hermanus Boutique Guest House has a great location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. great rooms too and friendly service. I I had to criticise I would say it can be a bit noisy in the morning when setting up breakfast if you have one of the inside rooms... But really a nice place we loved it.

This small hotel was awesome. We were a group of seven people and booked 4 rooms. We stayed for one night only. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. We had great view of the ocean from our rooms. The breakfast was perfect and omelette was to die for. All in all I give this hotel a perfect 10

Wonderful stay!

The Hermanus Boutique was a wonderful find and a great place to spend our final few days in South Africa. The decor and design are very unique but very clean comfortable and welcoming. We had booked a room close to the pool and spent the first night there, however as preferred a ground floor and sea view room, we were upgraded for our final two nights at no extra cost, which was hugely appreciated. The location is great for the coastal walk as well as being only a few minutes from the local centre for restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was superb.
