Beautiful views of the coast! Have a lovely stay here for our honeymoon. Definitely worth getting a sea view room - it was stunning to see the sunrise and sunset.

Fantastic place to stay

The whole team at 7on Marine was brilliant right from the start - so helpful and friendly. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the sea and we were able to see whales from there on our second day. Just across the road was the path along the cliff which made for a great scenic walk. Loved it and will stay longer next time.

Hermanus visit

Nice location and wasy to walk into town. Fantastic restaurants nearby. As for the room it was clean, very industrial flooring and interior. Understaffed, however delovered a good breakfast. Room 7 states partial sea view but you have to crane your nexk to see it whilst viewing the property neck door so there was a lack of privacy.

The hotel is beautiful, new and clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, with particular shoutout to Dominique who went above and beyond to drive us to the Abalone farm when we running late and the taxi wasn't available. The food recommendations were excellent. Unfortunately during our stay there, there was a huge storm which cut off the power outage for all of Hermanus, so we didn't have electricity and hot water, but it is no fault of the hotel itself. Would recommend!

Gaynor and her staff were super welcoming despite the challenging conditions due to the disruptions because of the 100 year storm that just hit the area. The property was supposed to be closed, but due to Expedia being unable to inform us in time, we showed up unknowingly. Fortunately Gaynor welcomed us with open arms and provided us with everything we needed. The views are amazing (we spotted 4 whales from our bedroom window) especially at sunrise. Impeccable service and very conveniently located in between Hermanus center and Old Harbour (closer to Center). Just cross the street and walk the cliff path to see loads of Dassies and whales. Would give 6 stars if I could, will certainly visit again.

Stole our money

A complete shocker. I made a booking at this hotel a month in advance, only to receive an email the morning of my stay letting me know they were fully booked. I was already in Hermanus and stranded. I have now been struggling to get a refund: Hotels.com confirmed the hotel took our funds, but the hotel denies this and won’t pay us back!!! We are out of pocket R3k and we did not even stay here. It is VERY sly and unethical - this is daylight robbery!

No room, no refund

Booked and paid through hotels.com, when arriving to check-in we were asked to wait in the reception for a while. The manager comes and explains that they can not deliver the booked and paid room - actually no room at all. She says that she booked us at a guesthouse over the street instead. So we go over there, look at that room, and decide to stay there instead, so we check-in and pay there. Now all the hassle starts - the hotel manager from the original hotel comes over twice to “discuss” the matter and I explain that I have nothing to do with their mistake and am just expecting a refund. She says she can not get a hold of hotels.com and can not refund. She offers a bottle wine in the meantime (still to be seen). This is now a couple of days after the stay. I have informed hotels.com and they were surprised she never cancelled the stay in their system. So far no wine bottle - but more importantly no refund of the money paid for the room. I am a long term customer and gold client with hotels.com. Very disappointed, and actually more than a little surprised. Ok, they probably made a mistake no big deal, but why the hassle for me, and why no refund? Therefore, I would not recommend anyone to book this hotel as you may loose your money and end up without anywhere to stay.

The room was beautiful and clean. The view of the ocean was stunning. We did not partake in breakfast so I cannot comment. The staff was pleasant but not prominent. We felt like it was more of an air bnb as opposed to a hotel. Very quiet after nightfall. Had good sleeps. Walk into town was about 7 minutes along the ocean walkway. Beautiful. Our main complaint was no labels on the wonderful lighting switches. You have spent a lot of money on beautiful lighting, it would be nice to let the guests know what turns what on! Thanks for the lovely stay.

Toller Aufenthalt in Hermanus

Unser Aufenthalt im 7 on Marine war super. Die Gastgeberin und deren Personal sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Unser Zimmer war modern, sauber und geräumig. Das Frühstück am Morgen wurde liebevoll hergerichtet und schmeckte sehr gut.
