The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! "The White Buck is a beautiful building in a lovely new forest village. Our room was well appointed and if a very good size. Tea making facilities were in the room and the little milk fridge on the landing is excellent."

"This hotel was absolutely delightful, comfortable & full of character. The grounds were lovely and the staff were very friendly, polite and exceedingly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was way beyond our expectation of a buffet breakfast. There was a huge range of food available from a full English through to fruit, cereal & yoghurt. It was all delicious. "Great guest house, great room, great en suite, great breakfast and friendly attendant. Probably the cleanest place we've stayed in. Very close to the railway station and only a few minutes' walk into the town centre. You could hear a bit of traffic but it soon blended in to the background."
