"I treated my mom to a weekend away at New Forest last weekend and we stayed at Cottage Lodge Hotel - the room was amazing, super clean and fantastically maintained. The hosts were super sweet and kind. The breakfast was exceptional!! A lot of information for routes around the forest and information for the village and nearby towns. We both look forward to returning back - I really can’t recommend this place enough. We loved absolutely everything!"

"I had a wonderful stay! The room was ever spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the space feel even more welcoming. What stood out to me the most were the thoughtful little details around the place. For example, the shower head is thoughtfully positioned facing the wall, so when you turn on the water, you don’t get splashes unexpectedly. Such a small but considerate touch that really show how much the host cares about the guest experience. I would definitely come back and...

"The Cliff House was an excellent resto-pub with rooms. We bagged the last room and although a bit on the small side (which he had been advised in advance), it was well appointed and scrupulously clean. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings had a nautical theme. Food was outstanding and great value. Staff were delightful and most helpful. The beer garden was a bonus too. A great little spot overlooking the Channel. "

"Property was in the heart of the New Forest, convenient for other towns/villages/beaches we visited, forest walks close by. Room and ensuite were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, many choices. Staff friendly and accommodating. Pub next door served excellent evening meals. Would definitely recommend."
