"The Hotel and staff were great. The restaurant food was amazing and a lovely setting. A perfect location an ideal location for walking the New Forest. Only negative walls in room could do with wash/paint"

"The rooms were nice but need a bit of updating, worth paying for garden room as twice we saw deer in the garden, there is one sofa in the bar area that is filthy and torn and needs binning"
Thorps Farm Bed and Breakfast

"Janet was so friendly and helpful, and welcomed me with a warm smile and offered to help carry my bags to my room. The room was perfect for me. I chose the bigger room to have more room and an armchair to sit in during the evening. The view over the fields was beautiful and hearing the cows “talking” to each other was wonderfully relaxing reinforcing the peaceful atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and everything was so clean and tidy. Janet cooked and prepared almost what ever I want for breakfast, nothing seemed to be too much trouble despite the fact she was busy decorating, busy on the farm, and busy keeping the rooms clean. My stay at Thorpe Farm really made my weekend away everything I wanted and for a solo traveller, like me, it was the perfect setting. I’d recommend it to anyone. Only one thing, listen to sat nav and take that little track that doesn’t seem to be quite right. It is signposted Thorpe Farm if you look, so don’t ignore what your sat nav is telling you and end up going round in circles like I did🙈"

"For the very reasonable price we paid we can't complain! A good stopover for 1 night, but I wouldn't choose to stay for more than that. Parking was a big bonus. Bedding and towels were clean, but the room and pub itself could do with a good clean."

"Due to a sad incident at a festival it was cancelled and book Burley Manor last minute and late at night. The staff on arrival were so welcoming. I loved my room, and the lounges the hotel offered. Waking to the views was delightful. Overall, I had a great stay."

"I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over."
