"It was great place for family. Location and activities for children were the best .However limited vegetarian options in half board and breakfast was very dry and limited for adults though kids lived all the doughnuts. On the last day it was disappointing and we wnatwd ro run away from resort .as there was some foot ball tournament going on they jad hosted all teams dining room was no less than busy Market. Noisy and didnt have agood dining experience. "

"We stayed just one night, as we arrived to Zadar very late after a delayed flight. The staff were very welcoming, the room was everything you expect, and the breakfast good. The highlight was lazing by the pool in the morning, and the fact the public bus stoped a short distance away, which meant we could effortlessly get in to tow or to the beach."

"Loved the decor & views. Staff in dining area were very attentive & efficient. Reception staff pleasant but missed telling us about a few of the amenities & how to access them. "The beds were not the most comfortable. Too hard, but also with annoying polyvinyl under the sheets. Maybe we were expecting a more well-kept beach in this 5-star resort. Comparing the beach with the neighboring, much smaller 4-star resort Sunnyside Apartments shows some of the weaknesses of the Falkensteiner resort beaches."

"Hotel Bastion is wonderful. I wanted a place close to old town and I couldn't have chosen better. The room was very nice and breakfast was great. And the staff - terrific! In the dining room, bar, and at the front desk, we were always greeted with smiles and friendliness. We were also helped with local information and tours. The tuk tuk tour and the boat to Preko were our favorites. The restaurants in Zadar were also wonderful. Visit Zadar! "

"The hotel is really amazing, very nice staff, impressive facilities and a really nice breakfast. The only down point is the location 40min walking to zadar centre and with almost no shoppings or restaurants around. Uber cost 5 euros to the town centre, very affordable even for the ones who prefer not hiring a car. It was a quite good experience, would be returning for sure. Strongly recommend the stay in Liburnum Hotel."
