"No power, had to move out at midnight!! One 2nd floor so stairs were hard in the dark!! Very poor emergency lighting with none in rooms "

"I would skip this hotel if you plan to spend any time except sleeping in your room. The TV was fuzzy and only had a few working channels, no option to connect to the Internet or even stream from your phone. There was no hand soap, we were told to use the face wash bars to wash our hands. The water pressure was terrible and lukewarm most of the time. There is no microwave in the room, only a mini fridge that did not get very cold. There is a Keurig though. Despite the issues it was clean and the staff were all very kind. The housekeepers were thorough and the beds were made and fresh towels put up, they even organized the bathroom when it was a mess after getting ready. Expensive but decent place to sleep, otherwise not great to spend time there. "

"The property is close to home for an overnight getaway. I asked for a quiet room upstairs at the back of the hotel. I Got #312 & heard the elevator loudly buzzing & going up & down the entire stay. Amenities state "Heated Pool & Hot Tub" Pool is unused-Not Heated! Hot Tub is Empty! 90% of the reason I chose this hotel was for the pool & Hot Tub!! 2 drinks allowed per stay during Happy hour! Only had red wine & a choice from 4 beers?? As an option I had to ask for a can of soda & the only bottle of water they had? Breakfast wasn't great, undercooked eggs, muffins & bread/toast. & Coffee. Attendant in the breakfast room was using a dirty rag to repeatedly clean the tables & didn't seem very clean when replacing & removing food? Should she be wearing gloves!? About 5-6 hours after I got home; I felt sick to my stomach & threw up my entire breakfast! (I only ate from the hotel) Pretty sure it was food poisoning!! Not a good experience overall. When I checked the room rates that day, the same room was $110 I paid $152 using my Expedia platinum member points! Feel like I wasted my time & points! I also chose the wrong place to stay! This "Grand Hotel" needs to update their amenities advertising... Extremely Misleading! Nothiing "Grand" to look forward to here! Very disappointed."

"Arrived earlier than expected and called to inquire about checking in early. I was met with a warm “sure, you can check in right now if you want” - no extra fee or issues. Staff were friendly, helpful, and showed sincere interest in making sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Room was clean and well-kept. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area."
