"The room was clean and comfortable. What was really lacking was the upkeep of the exterior. The yard was overgrown, weeds were growing throughout the grass and through the steps and deck. The porch which looks inviting in the pictures was badly in need of paint and bushes were overgrown. Overall, the feeling was that we’d arrived at a dilapidated unkempt place in a town where everything else is pristine. "Beautiful and very comfortable room. Unfortunately the fireplace could not be persuaded to work but it was not really a problem. Next time we will visit in the season as many restaurants were still on winter hours and so the choice was a bit limited."

The bathroom was refurbished and very clean. I enjoyed sitting on the deck for a bit in the evening. The location of the B & B was also great!"

There are two steep flights of stairs to the room. The sitting area and tea were most welcome. It was a very comfortable place to stay."
