"I really liked the queen loft room we stayed at, for both privacy and the unique layout. The daily breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was a big plus. Additionally, the community room for access to resources and continental breakfast was a very nice perk. The owners are hard-working and friendly as well. Thanks for the enjoyable experience!"

"Absolutely excellent property with great views. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Bathroom was luxurious, water was soft. The king bed was incredible! Very soft sheets. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the dining/sitting area. Comfortable chairs, granite tables. Breakfast was OK, with how luxurious the hotel was I would have expected something aside from a continental style service. "We had a great stay at KBar S Lodge! The property is beautifully spread out, offering a peaceful setting and lovely views of Mt. Rushmore from several spots around the lodge. "We had such a good time. And our two dogs had even more fun. We were all so relaxed. Really enjoyed sitting out in the Mount Rushmore viewing area with a glass of wine after a long drive. The food is really good and the staff is as nice as we’ve found anywhere. Jadz the night manager is great and we love the dude who runs the food area. All of them class acts. We don’t like camping but love UNder Canvas. The tents are awesome. "

"Very clean and close to the interstate. Every staff member was amazing, professsional, and polite during our entire 6 night stay. You can tell they take alot of pride in their job and are focused on making it a great experience. Will definitely stay again.
