"The ocean was visible from the property but host said he'd sent a pin to our account which we didn't receive. Property surrounds eg garden were not well maintained."

"We booked a ground floor room as my wife has mobility issues and Chloe called me to say all was organised but when we booked in on the Saturday afternoon was told no ground rooms were available so my wife had to struggle up and down stairs all weekend. We were told when we checked in it was bad luck for us. Staff not very helpful or friendly so we decided not to get meals at the hotel "

"Booking through other platforms other than the original site you get substandard accommodation with no direct redress. Was allocated a cabin directly next and over looking the dump station. Sights and smells were not good. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner at t he restaurant was great. However, the restaurant indicated it was open in the morning, but it was not open. The grounds provided lots of bird watching opportunities. "

"As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. This was not a cheap stay, but we were happy to pay for a different 'experience'. Nice area but! The obvious things included unlike what was advertised about "Free Wi-Fi. Available in the cottage" it didn't exist. We didn't even have mobile reception unless we walked to the 'Telstra pole' (their written advice in room) at next property where...

"The room we were in was modern and very spacious. I think it was originally two rooms that had been combined so there was a lounge which was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was is in a great location, not far from the city and close to lots of cafes and restaurants. The food at the Hotel (pub) downstairs was pretty good and the 20% discount for guests was great. There were some negative as well. 1. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. There...
