Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . "We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. "The owners were incredibly lovely and helpful, great for a chat over breakfast and any time we crossed paths. They had ideas and suggestions of where to go and what to do and very much gave a homely feeling to our stay. The breakfast was delicious. They made a full English breakfast both days to order whilst also having a selection of different cereals, fruits and pastries. "I really liked this hotel, it was our second visit but, they completely messed up our dinner. We pre ordered the roast pork but, unfortunately they ran out! We ended up with ham, egg and chips which was laughable, the ham looked like thinly sliced spam, the egg was overcooked and we had a few oven chips! It was so bad we got up and walked out, which i have never done before and I’m 67! I have emailed the hotel but, no reply! We won’t be going back!"
