"Lovely guesthouse that has been updated but still has kept its beautiful character. The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. "Sarah & Marc met us as we arrived with a drink & a chat to welcome us. The room with en-suite was beautifully decorated, clean & quiet. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. "Nice clean, cheap and quiet room to stay the night whilst travelling. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a couple minor issues (not the fault of the hotel in any way) which were resolved quickly and easily by the staff. The bathroom in my room was excellent. Massive shower and super modern and clean. Highly recommended. "

"The owners, Lisa and Christof were such amazing hosts, nothing was too hard to organise. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time, each meal individually prepared. The rooms were beautifully presented and perfectly functional. It was pet friendly, however we did not have our dog with us. A short 8-10 min walk to the Torquay foreshore and restaurants, a great location and wonderful stay. "
