The Grand Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I took my two boys on a long weekend and I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel amenities gym, indoor pool and outdoor heated pool with loungers. It was a delight for adults and kids. The bar is nice and the buffet breakfast is really well balanced with options for ordering cooked oatmeal or eggs the way you like them. I would definitely comeback. The location is near the marina and plenty of options for eating out."

"The Livermead Hotel was absolutely lovely. It’s an old hotel and in some aspects a little dated but personally this just made it more charming to us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the onsite parking was a bonus. The location is excellent and lots of bars and restaurants nearby to explore. The harbour is a great place to have a drink and people watch. Looking forward to our next stay here."

"Hotel was not what we expected but was good value for money. We went when there was a fair on so lots of noise outside as you are in the centre of the motion. The staff member was brilliantly friendly but the room was on the small side for a double and bathroom would not suit someone 6ft plus due to sink being right next to the toilet. The double room we was allocated was more a single then a double. Personally I'd say this location suits people going away on day trips with friends or people working away from home not a couple going away but that is our opinion. I want to say if your looking for good value for your budget this place suits you 100% it's clean tidy and ideal for single visitors who want a nice base"

"The staff on reception were friendly, and welcoming. The breakfast was traditional English breakfast. The lovely ladies serving and looking after breakfast were simply superb, attentive, and professional. Their warmth and maturity really stood out and, in our experience, surpassed the service we received at all the other hotels we stayed at this summer. We also had beautiful sea views overlooking Newquay from the terrace outside our room. Priceless."
