The resort is conveniently close the beach, you are able to access the beach from the hotel. It was easy to get a car service to different nearby areas. "

"Fantastic hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful in all areas of the resort. Food was excellent, loved that there was a sushi station a few nights. Drinks selection was good including some really good mocktails. Apartments are spacious and very clean - plenty of space for our family of 3. The only slight downside was the water park..we were really looking forward to using the water park as it looks fantastic for toddlers, however this was definitely not designed with toddlers in mind. The slides are great, but there is a huge bucket above the slides which constantly fills and swings pouring water below. The bucket is huge and the power of the water spray is far too powerful for toddlers below…my husband and I both had a go and found it too much! I wondered if it was just us…but for the week we were there we hardly saw anyone using the younger kids water park. I think it would be used much more if they turned off the bucket function and just let the kids play. "

"This was a beautiful stay with staff who gave us excellent service and accomodation which was clean, very comfortable and well maintained. This was the perfect break for us, giving luxury, tranquility and lovely visual aspects. The grounds are landscaped and you can walk down to the beach through the pine trees. Pure joy! "

"A lovely 3 nights in the Velamar We had a room on the 2nd floor woth a sea view which was very nice. A lovely live singer around the pool on Friday afternoon she was really good. A great choice at breakfast on the roof top restaurant. All of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Overall a lovely hotel and can recommend staying there. "
