"We had a great time staying at this hotel. We took the bus right outside the hotel to the city center, which was so easy to get to. The rooms were nice and clean, and the view of the mountain was just amazing."

"A very pleasant self-catering studio about 70 metres down the hill from the main hotel and towards the town centre. It is on the first floor of a very pretty town house, and has good enough cooking/eating equipment. There is an excellent food section in a department store further down the hill in the town centre, about 200 metres away ... if you are ok with carrying your groceries back up to the accommodation."

"The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. The staff reluctantly served us drinks while at the same time wiping tables and closing down - despite the fact that the bar was supposed to stay open for another 30 minutes. There was no air conditioning in either room and no fan in one of the rooms (30 degrees outside and inside). Breakfast the next...

"The room was spacious and beautiful, offering a stunning view. Breakfast was excellent. The dinner service was wonderful with an equally amazing view, just the food is not the best. However, given that it was included in the half-board rate, it was perfectly acceptable. A quick tip: the train station is only a two-minute walk away, but be sure to ask the front desk for directions, instead of following Google Maps."

"We were very fortunate to have a room in the front with a wonderful lake view. The hotel is comfortable older property, but the room and bathroom were large and spotless. Location is excellent, right next to the bus stop close to the town. Restaurant is excellent. Only negative is the absence of a grab bar in the bathtub/shower."

"A hard review to write. I gave 5 stars in most areas. The service and the overall property was excellent but for the price we had some issues. The KEY to the room is a huge pain! You only get one key and if you lose it there is a $1000 Swiss franc fee to replace it and a minimum 3 hour wait. Two doors to go through so it is very inconvenient. While the room we had was very large with a bedroom plus a large kitchen/living space with two patios there was only one TV in the living room! No bedroom...
