"What a gorgeous property! Received an upgrade to a corner suite which was not only large but had spectacular lake views. Felt like royalty. Dined at Le Relais where both the food and service were excellent. The hotel is adjacent to a funicular and an easy walk to town. The staff are wonderful. A truly fantastic stay. Highly recommended!"

"I booked this hotel mainly because it is near the station and I wanted to travel around the Ticino region by train. I wasn't expecting such a charming property that reflects the grand era of travel of a century ago. Despite its age, it has been very well upgraded and my room was very comfortable, with a balcony view of the garden and its many palm trees. "The location of the hotel is ideal. The view from my hotel room was fantastic. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. There are plenty of shops and restaurants, all within a couple of minutes walk. For further destinations, such as the main train station, a bus can be taken via the bus stop located a few seconds from the hotel. "

"Super nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr saubere Unterkunft, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Frühstück war absolut ausreichend, inklusive frisch zubereitetem Kaffee oder Kakao…. Sehr nahe zum See gelegen, Lugano ist zu Fuß oder sehr einfach mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Parkplatz nur zum einchecken vor der Unterkunft vorhanden, aber weitere Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe stehen zur Verfügung."

"Staff! Due to a landslide caused by heavy rains, our party of 4 was stuck in Milan with no way to get back to Lugano. Hotel staff arrange a taxi to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel when all transpiration options were overtaxed and expensive. The staff literally saved us from a very difficult circumstance."
