"Our family had a wonderful experience at the Lakeside Country Cottage - it's private and very comfortable, on a beautiful small lake. Our son enjoyed fishing right off the dock and caught two largemouth bass - he was very excited! We also loved taking the canoe out and just hanging out by the water. "This was our first visit to Elijay and overall my family and I enjoyed our stay especially the balcony view. However there are two situations that were not so good for us. Although we paid our pet fee $75 please be aware that if you take your pet make sure he is not a barker because the neighbors around the property were exaggerated and inconvenienced by a few barking episodes from our pet. "Hidden in the Treetops! I was looking for a couple of days to get lost in the mountains, and this home provided everything. It was clean, but it was also very cozy and easy to relax in. The deck and furniture there and on front porch were perfect for just relaxing and listening to nature."
