"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The understated quality was evident from the moment we checked in when we were invited to the garden for a glass of wine whilst the check-in paperwork was done and our bags taken to the room. The happy hour, the helpful staff and the breakfast were superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be within walking distance of the beach tourist sites but still have a sort of oasis to which to retreat."

Even if you take a vaporetto it's a winding walk through the streets---only a taxi could get you conveniently to this hotel. "Firstly, I’ve traveled extensively and never complained about a hotel but this have one was really bad. Hotel staff at front desk unwelcoming and rude. Shockingly poor experience compared with all the other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Our room smelled oppressively like cologne or chemical scent. Clearly they’re masking other smell. " I had a great stay at Arcadia Boutique Hotel in Venice. The location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants, and transport. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return."

"From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and give a personal escort to our room where we were shown all the amenities. The room is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The only negative was the extra firm mattress. I did not sleep well due to this. I had to use their two complimentary robes to layer on the mattress and still it was not comfortable.
