"Lovely resort with friendly staff and a great buffet breakfast. Right on the beach and close to other eating places and shops. Rooms were large, clean and glass water bottles were refilled daily. Turndown service included a small gift each evening which was nice. Live music downstairs and an activity to do each day as well as a games area. Restaurants looked nice but were a bit too expensive for us."

"A great place to stay if you want a resort style holiday. There isn’t anything around the hotel but you can easily get a Grab into the town. Lovely staff and a great selection at breakfast"

"This was our first time staying here and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is right next to a clean and beautiful sandy beach with comfortable warm water. The staffs are friendly and courteous. We booked two rooms but our sons couldn't make it due to bereavement and it was passed the deadline for cancelation. The management totally sympathize with the situation and help us to get refund for the second room. We are very grateful. The resort is located within 10 minutes from the airport and they have free shuttle to and from the airport. Our return flight was real early and they even packed box breakfast for us. Will come back again in the future."

"Beautiful view of the pool and beach from balcony. While not in the heart of Phu Quoc, it was nice to be a short distance away in the quiet and was a cheap taxi to anywhere. Still had easy access to shops, atms, night markets. The hotel and surrounds were very clean and well-landscaped. Staff were very friendly. I had the half-board option and it was a three course meal either lunch or dinner. Food was delicious. Pool bar was great and foam party and entertainment for kids was great. Rooms were well-equipped and house cleaning was wonderful. Definitely recommend Best Western Sonasea."

"My wife and I stayed in a private villa for two nights and that wasn’t nearly long enough. We loved the atmosphere, the privacy, and the staff was accommodating when we needed a late check out due to flight delays. As well as changes to our shuttle time to the airport, which changed multiple times. The buffet breakfast was great, fresh fruit, good meats, and plenty of variety for sweet or savory pallets. The drinks from the bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were also excellent. Their coffee was incredible. My wife and I debated on staying another couple of nights because the property is beautiful and well taken care of. All staff were friendly and helpful! Our room was spotless, we had control over the ac, and the bathroom was well kept. The only con was the phone in the room didn’t work, but they had a laminated notice explaining the phones weren’t working and provided alternative ways of contact for the front desk."
