"The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is close to the old town but far enough away for some peace and quiet. The self catering facilities were well thought out so saved on eating out all the time. However eating out all the time is really a good thing to do in Bordeaux. So many different eateries and reasonable prices. Beautiful architecture and such a chilled vibe. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Spacious room, pentry with fridge and kitchen utilities, nice staff as always in France I think, walking distance from the center approx 20 mins which is perfect for me (I prefer to stay 15-30 mins from center), otherwise you have both the tram and bus stop outside. The nearest tram stop is just around the corner to the left when you exit from the accommodation (unfortunately, the tram right outside wasn't running during my stay, double check if this is important for you).
