"Good free parking. Excellent breakfast good choice and nice and hot. Air conditioning and heating not working in room an electric heater provided but I was not informed of this by hotel staff. The room was clean and serviced daily. "

"It was just what we needed for 1 night stay, we can see it is being refurb and will look amazing when done, rooms where adequate all newly done. Nice comfy bed, close to places to eat if the restaurant closed. Will we definitely go back again for a longer stay when going to Chelmsford."

"Just a one night stop on business so no time to investigate in detail but very friendly and helpful staff and a very nice room. Not a big room but nicely furnished and equipped with a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and a couple of pods, tv, iron and board, etc. comfortable bed. Overall a nice comfortable night’s stay."

"No food Monday or Tuesday, the only food available is a Chinese in the village that doesn't take card (cash only). Not sure about other rooms but room 4 the Internet is terrible on all the networks and no phone signal either. Room is not made up or restocked during the day. The pub car park is small and the patrons seem to abaddon their vehicles all over the place which mean you can't get parked. There is a fridge in your room🌟 Would I stay again 🤔 doubt that very much. I wish the owners well but lots of niggles that mean your stay ends up unsatisfactory. "
