We travelled to Braintree to celebrate my 80th birthday as our family is somewhat scattered, with our eldest daughter living in Braintree. We had booked 3 rooms and the wonderful reception staff allowed my daughter access to each room to leave special gifts for us and balloons in my room. There was even a birthday card and prosecco from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with vegetarian...
