The Austrian Garden is a true hidden gem. It's tucked away in a garden oasis, yet only a three minute walk to Patong beach. The restaurant has an extensive German menu, & Robert's team makes every post a winner. The hotel itself was spotless, and Thomas' staff just couldn't do enough to help. If you're interested in a well priced hotel with the best pool imaginable, ice cold beer, and great food, this one's for you.

The room had no telephone to the front desk. I had room 118, it was large but sparse. I believe I was the only person in building one, the other people, ( who spoke German) were in building two and three. All in all I was happy, went on a fishing tour and enjoyed Paton.

McClure @ Patong Beach (Austria Garden)
Our stay was comfortable and easy access to the beach (5-min walk) accommodations were clean, service was good, breakfast was good with plenty of black coffee. Pool looked inviting (rain days) but do not have opportunity to use. Upon arrival the staff was pleasant and very warm welcoming us with free cold drink(beer). Departure at desk was not attentive and barely said thank you and did not offer assistance with taxi/ transportation.

On arrival check-in was quick and efficient despite us arriving close to midnight. The property has large rooms and there is very little noise at night and yet it was still located close to all amenities. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast is good and served in a nice setting. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel (we stayed 17 nights).

Property was well kept. Staff were great. Very helpful and able to communicate well. I liked that it was not really child friendly. I prefer my holidays to be with adults.

Beware!! Poor service and follow up!
They really need to rethink their key holding system. Put my key in the key box on the way out, as is the resort requirement. Returned early the next morning and my key was missing. Took half an hr to find front desk staff. Finally found someone. They went to my room and a local had taken my key and decided to take a nap in my room! All my stuff was still there. I asked for a room change and they said they were fully booked. Finally after about 2hrs I was able to get back into my room. They did change the linen. Went down the next morning to tell the duty manager, front desk staff said come down at 9pm. Ridiculous! The whole experience really made me uncomfortable. I will not be back!

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We arrived hot and tired prior to check in time and they greeted us with a complimentary drink of our choice and made our room available as a priority. The staff was friendly and professional but not in your face. A lovely balance! It was a very comfortable place to be in in every respect. The location was perfect for us being an easy 3-4 minute walk to Patong Beach and at the same time away from traffic and city noise. There were also plenty of eateries nearby.

Great Hotel - Happy to stay there again
From the minute I arrived I was made to feel welcome. Whilst I was checking in, I was sat down in the lounge and given a welcome drink. Then my bags were carried to my room for me. Th room was very spacious and the bed had crisp white sheets. The bathroom is also huge though the water pressure on the shower was only adequate. The pool area is wonderful. Patong Hideaway
Let's start with very nice and friendly staff , I meet the owners also and they were helpful, and wanted me to have a good stay .... The location is a few minutes walk from the beach , which is good , there is a nice pool , tasty breakfast, good laundry service AND many easy to walk too restaurants .....I would stay here again for SURE !!

Beautiful hotel close to beach
This is a beautiful hotel quiet relaxing clean. Walking distance to beach and bangala road. Dinner was delicious thank you we will be back here, it’s on our favourite list a must stay place

Excellent, just excellent. Great little place with lovely staff. The food is great, very high standards for small prices. Roomservice is good. Rooms are clean nice pool area. Overall very highly recommended.

Enjoyable stay

Nice Small Hotel
Located to North end of Patong, the hotel is a five minute walk to the beach. I went (late April) when the hotel was quiet the staff were attentive but not intrusive. The outside areas were well kept. The (standard) room seemed a bit tired, however for the price paid it was acceptable. If I returned to Patong I would probably return to this hotel. Its small enough for a personal touch but big enough to offer a decent restaurant and pool. I would recommend this hotel.

A must stay at perfect Hotel.....
I Stayed at this hotel during new year time 2016. I must say that hotel is perfectly designed for relaxing stay also it is very close to famous patong beach and main Bangla Night Life center.

Hotel needs to be upgraded. Room was a shed in garden. At night there are animals inside the roof of room making noise which is very disturbing. Very basic accommodation and much better available elsewhere!

Super erholsamer Aufenthalt

Ved ankomst til hotellet Serveres en velkomst drink. Et rigtig dejlig og hyggelig have miljø omkring hotellets værelser og poll. Renlighed overalt med daglige skift af sengetøj m.m. Godt beliggende i rolige omgivelser i Patong med udsigt til bjergene og 10 min fra stranden. En rigtig god udbud af europæisk køkken med hurtig betjening Karin og Karl

Alles brandschoon door goed management, probleempjes worden gelijk opgelost. Vriendelijk personeel, fijne ligging, niet ver van strand of restaurant of uitgaansgebied. Het hotel heeft zelf een heel goede keuken en een prima ontbijt.

Das Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Auch bei den kleinen Dingen, die im Alltag wichtig sind, lag alles bereit bzw. wurde es kurzfristig erledigt.

5歳の娘と二人で滞在しました。 チェックイン時間の大分前に到着してしまい、荷物だけ預かってもらって午後に戻りました。ウェルカムドリンクはアルコールも選べました。 最初に案内された部屋がとてもかび臭く、なんとかしてほしいとお願いしましたがマネージャーが不在のため明日の朝に対応するとのことでそのスタッフの対応にはがっかりでした。その後マネージャーの方がもどってきていたのでもう一度かび臭い旨伝えるとその場で部屋を交換いただけました。新しい部屋は広く快適でした。 翌朝、セーフティーボックスに不具合があり対応お願いしましたが、すぐ行くと言われてから全然来てくれず、、3回くらい催促に行ってやっと対応いただきました。早く出掛けたかったのでちょっとイライラしました。 プールはこじんまりで欧米の年配の方がゆったりまったり泳いでいます。こちらもゆっくりしたかったのでちょうど良い雰囲気でした。滞在時は何度もプールに入りました。 朝食がすごくおいしかったです！

Sehr gepflegte Hotelanlage. Sowohl die Zimmer, der Speisebereich als auch die Poolanlage sind sehr sauber. Nichts wirkt abgewohnt oder renovierungsbedürftig. Auch das Frühstück ist ok. Die Zimmer sind nicht hellhörig. Hatten uns einen Roller im Hotel gemietet. Auch der war gepflegt und verkehrssicher. Nichts zu bemängeln.

파통비치까지 가까워요. 정실론까지는 멀어요 걸어서 20분이상. 아침은 간단하지만 나쁘지않았고, 호텔가까이로컬 마사지도 좋아요. 바로건너편 이비스옆에!
