"Rooms where spotless the red carpet is very contrasting and possibly old looking compared to rest of room but staff where fantastic and very helpful spoke good English which was a blessing spa facilities all clean and quite to use too "

"Very quaint and homey, perfect for two travelers looking for a cheap stay near the Chamonix area. Fabienne and the rest of the staff were kind and accommodating, evidenced by them working with us when we encountered bus and flight delays. Rooms were cleaned daily. Additionally, you have the option to pay the first day you arrive or the last (if you plan on taking advantage of the hotel breakfast, it’s easier to pay upon checking out). Would stay again if we decide to journey out to Chamonix....

My daughter had races in Chamonix, Les Houches and Mageve and this hotel is an ideal location for all of these ski hills. It is stylish, clean, friendly family run place with parking, a fantastic restaurant, good breakfast and everything you could want for your ski vacation. As a mom of a ski racer, I’m picky. "Clean, efficient design, had everything we needed and the one bedroom apartment fit us all 5 comfortably. Location was perfect and within walking distance to the city center and major attractions. Staff was very friendly. Discovered a gem and will certainly stay there again!"

"We can't say enough about the Grand Hotel Des Alpes. Centrally located in town, so made it easy to visit local shops and phenomenal restaurants (e.g. Atmosphere, Rose de Pont and Matafan, all highly recommended). Skiing to each of the 4 resorts was made easy through the hotels shuttle service. Picks you up at the hotel and drops you off at the slopes. Then returns you. "We had the most wonderful two night stay. We were upgraded to a large two bedroom apartment . The apartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. All staff we met were very friendly .
