RockyPop Chamonix - Les Houches

"The location is short bus ride (3 stops??) from the Les Houches city center. It is a great starting point for Tour du Mont Blanc. The hallway set up is very interesting but playful in a way. Room is clean and WiFi coverage is reasonable. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Do try their buffet breakfast and it's a good value. It is a short walk (20min) to the city center and you do find restaurants and pub along the main road. Do believe there is min 2 nights stay requirement during the peak period. Please check the hotel's web site for more info. We used the "Luggage Transfer" service for our TMB and the hotel is very accommodating with that."

It was easy to walk to town or to take a bus, and the hotel provided a pass to cover bus fares, as well as the fare on the Mont Blanc Express to Valorcine, when I departed. A very comfortable bed, a traditional (cold) breakfast for an additional charge, and a friendly staff. Perfect for a 4-night stay while hiking in the area."
