Disaster! What a waste of a good location in a great resort in the hands of amateurs careless and inexperienced staff! I booked two rooms via Expedia, but before confirming the rooms i called the reception to ask how to arrange one of the rooms to have either two twin beds or an extra roll out bed to accompdate my 3 kids. When I got there after 8 hrs drive, the room with 3 beds was not there nor available. They spent 30 minutes trying to explain why they dont do that. I then called the front desk manager Clement, that after trying to explain why they dont usually so that and trying to identify who might have told me that they could, finally offered to help and let me know later in the evening. In the menatime, the hotel had no more parking spots available in the garage or outside, they proposed to me to go park in the city garage, which obviously they did not know, had height restrictions and therefore my car did not fit. The reastaurant of the hotel was booked out for that night even for hotel guests, the hotel did not offer room service of course therefore they suggested we go looking around in Chamonix to find a restaurant. It was raining heavily in Cahmonix and of course the hotel had no umbrellas! The spa was totally booked out and so was the jacuzzy and therefore no spots available to do that either for the next day or so! All of this was not told us on the phone and the staff could really not care less. Shame because the location is good, bad bad management!
