"The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Location is close to University of Hertfordshire, shopping and bus stop to St. Albans. Room was spotless and comfortable. No coffee in the room. Just tea and cookies. Highly recommend this lovely hotel."

Breakfast was very good and had what you would expect for a full English, along with continental options—reasonable price. Location is excellent for car travellers as it is just off the A1, in the back end of a rest stop, and very quiet. Best part is this hotel is pet-friendly 🐶. "
