"Let me start by saying the hotel is beautiful, I booked a Junior suite & it was stunning. Unfortunately, our experience at Nacional was disappointing. We arrived for a 5 night stay on Easter Sunday Apr 5th & on arrival the front desk told us we didn't have a reservation even though we'd fully prepaid for our room through Expedia. I showed them copies of the confirmation on the app, the printed email showing it was paid & the message the hotel sent us through the Expedia app the day before...

"This hotel met my expectations. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful to me at all times. The room was clean and comfortable and a location was nearly perfect for all of the activity I participated in. The breakfast was very well prepared plus the food from the hotel restaurant. Most importantly if I'm ever visit Copacabana again on vacation it's a big YES I will stay again. "

"The staff was super helpful and the hotel was very clean and beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. Valet parking was included and was very convenient. The location was right in downtown and had easy access to food, shopping, and tourist spots."

"Très bon petit déjeuner, frais et varié. Vue sur la plage depuis la chambre très agréable. Chambre nettoyé et serviettes changé tous les jours. Petit bémol sur les toilettes qui se sont bouchées 3 fois, cela a été résolu rapidement mais gênant d'aller voir la réception pour leur demander de déboucher avec les besoins qui ne s'évacuent pas. Sur les langues parlées par le personnel, il etaot noté Français mais aucune personne ne parle un seul mot de francais donc si vous ne savez pas parlé...

"We are only in the hotel at night. In the day time were always outside exploring the city and area. Clean room- 90% Staff- 100% Seaside view- 90% Breakfast-100% Laundry- no laundry machine inside the hotel we have to go out 2 blocks from the hotel."

"Wifi is unstable, rooms are clean bathrooms it depends what you consider clean! Breakfast is good, co working space is not available on floor 1, the do have a room to reserve but only one. For a 5 star hotel it lacks the wow factor and the amenties. Staff are great!"
