"A lot of the staff speak and understand English, which was a nice surprise! Absolutely beautiful views from the rooftop bar and pool. Sauna was perfect after a days walking. Bed and pillows were divine. Best sleep ever! Freshly made omelet with your choice of fillings for breakfast and beautiful meals in the evening. Lots of staff, always pleasant. "Center strip right on the beach with unsurmountable views! Our suite was large and had a huge tub looking straight out over copacabana. The bed was glorious after walking all day and we had a fridge. The best thing, the huge balcony! Staff was super friendly and helpful. As an American I always complain about buffets when I travel. It had a bunch of fruit and cheese and some sliced chopped ham, but the scrambled eggs were way undercooked everyday... just watery. I didn't recognize anything else...

The rooms are modern, with excellent views of the city (we could even see Christ the redeemer from our hotel window!). The breakfast buffet was plentiful each morning and provided us a very accessible way to get breakfast with such a busy schedule.
