"We pulled into the very deserted and mostly closed down town of Shamrock. Lots of dilapidated buildings and closed businesses. The motel looked old and there were maybe 5 cars there. Wall a/c units and one mini hibachi grill sitting next to one unit. We didn't feel comfortable with the surroundings and we're pretty sure there was no type of security for the motel. We headed on to Amarillo and took a loss on the no refund."
