Love this place

We love this place. Such friendly owners who are continually uograding. Our room was clean, comfortable and everything worked well. They have a great off leash play are that our dogs loved.

All of our family stayed for a wedding. The inn was very close to the wedding venue which made for an easy commute. The inn is still under construction and the staff was very friendly. I feel that the rooms could have been cleaner.

Nice, clean, and comfortable.

The room was very clean and comfortable, had a new memory foam mattress that was very comfortable. The owners are very nice, friendly people. The Roku TV system is great.

About what I was expecting

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The price was excellent. The only thing lacking was heat as I could not find a thermostat to warm the room up. Probably operator error on my part.

Bed squeaked so bad you couldn't put any pressure on mattress without it making loud noise. Mold around bathtub. Caulking pealing everywhere.

While the owners were super-nice and helpful, the motel property itself is sub-standard. Yes, I understand that "We are remodeling", but the reviews on Expedia led me to believe The Canadian Inn was in a class with much nicer hotels. The door to my room had previously been kicked open, and hastily repaired (I slept with the room desk pushed up against the entry door). The bathroom had no sink, so I had to shave, etc in the kitchenette sink. I was accosted by several homeless types in the motel parking lot at night. The Canadian Inn normally charges bargain rates, but I visited on a busy weekend in town, and paid close to Best Western or Fairfield Inn rates. As nice as the owners were, I will not be choosing the Canadian Inn for my future visits to town.

The staff were friendly but the room was dirty the tub had look like it had not been cleaned in a while. The floor wasn’t swept there where brown spots growing on the floors.

The new owners have done a tremendous job with improvements over the last few months they've owned it. We had new sheets, brand new towels, a new memory foam mattress (so comfy!) and I clocked the WiFi at 30mbps inside my room. Staff is extremely attentive and welcoming, the room was very clean and sanitized, and above all, this was the best value in town! The lobby is charming and welcoming, and they have drinks and snacks available for only a dollar (!) plus some local hot sauces and peach salsas made by their family back in Colorado. I can't say enough about my stay here and I'll be back anytime I'm through the area! Oh, and they're also pet-friendly, they don't charge a fee for pets and have a nice grassy area in the middle of the property with poop bags available.
