"Quite a nice hotel in a really great location. Really lovely staff. The rooms are pretty tiny but if you’re the type of traveler that we are, we only spent time in the room to sleep so it really doesn’t matter. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Probably the best breakfast spread I’ve ever had. Not overly wasteful, a reasonable amount of choices that covers most dietary preferences (vegans should look elsewhere) and everything was absolutely delicious. The location is fab. Walking distance to most things (including the metro!). Very easy to get around. We also loved the 24hr gym. Really helped beat the jet lag. I have never stayed at a Rydges before, but i would definitely consider again, them not only in Aus but anywhere else for my next vaycay."

"We requested some things on check in and it took 3 phone calls before they were delivered to our room. The rooms are a little tired. Room was not soundproof. Beautiful view, but the windows were dirty. We couldn't use the top floor bar as there was a private function booked."

"Good location in the CBD, decent room, accommodating staff. Price point fair if on high floor with at least some view of city- otherwise surrounded buildings. "

"Had trouble getting in, was 9:30pm. Fortunately another guest allowed us entry. We pressed the buzzer a number of times with no assistance rendered. Once in we liked our spacious apartment. This is the third time we have stayed and will stay again at some stage."
