"I would not recommend this hotel. It is in a great location and has ac BUT there are no windows to the exterior (window merely looks out into corridor inside building) so room feels like a jail cell. Double bed is actually 2 twins side by side which separate as you move in bed. Room and bathroom very small so hard to move around if traveling with a second person. The check in desk is not well marked and the person who gave us our room key never gave us a code to get back into the building so...

"Helpful staff. Room initially was for handicapped— so we had to move. Room large and bed comfortable. Shower large but extremely slippery (needed rubber mats). Closet space too small for 5 day trip. Buffet breakfast very nice with custom cooked omelettes."

The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. "Great location for exploring beautiful Lyon. I did find our initial arrival into the hotel a bit awkward. The hotel itself is located inside an apartment building so you have to communicate through a buzzer system, then heavy doors and lastly into a very small elevator or two flights of stairs. "Central location minutes from many restaurants. Good comfortable bed. There was a massive lamp over our bed which was a great feature but didn't work so didn't understand the purpose. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was a very unattractive stain on the floor. There were inconsistencies with the staff helpfulness. I had asked the woman cleaning our room to leave an extra towel which she forgot to do. When I got back to the hotel and realised there wasn't a towel I called reception and was...

"A nice, safe hotel in the center of town. The front desk staff was very good, but the housekeeping staff left a bit to be desired. We asked at the front desk for extra pillows, which never came so we had to ask housekeeping. They, in turn, had to speak to someone higher up. Eventually the front desk staff brought the pillows after which housekeeping tried to bring them again. Also, we left the room one morning and returned early afternoon and the room had not been serviced. None every returned...
