We really enjoyed our three night stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed and linens were very nice and the room was very quiet. We slept well here. The location was perfect for us and we enjoyed walking to everything we wanted to do. Everyone at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Charm and style!

The hotel has so much charm and style! The bedding was very comfortable and the amenities were top notch. We had a room on the 4th floor with a huge balcony that was lovely. The location was perfect for visiting the Vieux Lyon and so many other areas.

The red hotel!, The carpets, walls and furniture are red, so it feels dated. No real lounge or outdoor space, just an internal bar. The staff and location were excellent. Also, the breakfast was very good

Dog friendly stay with luxury

The Carlton was a highlight of my summer driving trip around Europe. Excellent service. Friendly staff, lovely room. I had my two digs with me and they made an effort to welcome them and care for the. I will definitely stay there again.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent for many things to do in Lyon. I wouldn’t have known about this except for helpful reviews so I wanted to add another because it’s a much nicer place to stay than some of the large chain hotels in the area.
