Beautiful boutique hotel ,well-situated and within walking distance of many restaurants , patisseries and upscale shopping , as well as tourist attractions including Vieux Lyon. The rooms are so comfortable, clean and quiet with upscale amenities. There was a mini -fridge in my room which I found very useful. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. We did not use the bar or try the hotel breakfast available daily for a fee. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Lyon one day!

We loved our stay at the Carlton. The location was excellent - very quiet, safe neighborhood to walk, and plenty of restaurants to choose from. It was within walking distance to several major sights. The hotel was super clean and our room was quite big for European standards. The staff was always cheerful and super helpful whenever we passed them in the lobby or had a question at the front desk.

Carlton Hotel Lyon is a lovely, renovated old hotel in the Presquile area of Lyon. It is convenient to all you want to see in Lyon. It is also air-conditioned. Our room was comfortable with a large, modern bathroom. Breakfast was abundant. The staff members were very helpful and speak excellent English. They arranged a car to the airport (which is far out of town) for an early morning flight. If we are ever back in Lyon, we would definitely stay at the Carlton again.
