"This striking bright white boutique nature retreat style boutique hotel was gorgeous. The rooms are like little huts, basic but incredibly romantic. The outdoor facilities and gardens are so lovely, it’s like a romantic get away in a thatched hut. We loved the pool area, food was exceptional and the staff eager to please. Lots of little animals frogs, cats, lizards are encouraged to roam free of harsh chemicals."

"The villa was beautiful. The host/butlers are very responsive and helpful. Pita, Yuni and Detta all responded very quickly to questions on WhatsApp. The unit was absolutely perfect when we arrived. It’s also in a good location but we rented a scooter to make it more convenient. The only thing that was a bummer was that we weren’t informed that there is an onsite fitness center with a beautiful sauna and cold plunge. I only found out when I asked to for somewhere to change my clothes after check out. The other weird thing was when you check out they meet you and do an awkward walk through while you’re there to see if they will give you your deposit back which felt sort of scary. I would stay here again!"

"My wife and I recently completed a wonderful 5-day stay at Suarga Padang Padang for our 40th anniversary. Because this property has a strict no-refund/no-cancellation policy, I did a lot of research on Expedia before booking. After reading some negative reviews post-booking, I actually went into panic mode—especially since my wife needs proper, centralized AC to stay comfortable. I was so anxious I almost booked a backup hotel! However, the staff completely eased my mind via WhatsApp before we even arrived, answering every question with great detail. We paid for an upgrade and stayed in Wantilan Suite 4, which sits right on the ocean and features access to a semi-private shared pool. It never felt crowded; we rarely saw anyone else there except the occasional neighbor. The Room & Amenities If you are expecting a traditional Hilton or Ritz-Carlton, keep in mind that Suarga is an eco-friendly resort. It has more of an elegant, luxury-lodge style. Our suite was fantastic and featured both centralized AC and a unique, specialized bed-cooling system. It worked so well that we actually had to turn the bed AC off some nights because it got too cold! The room had a second door opening up to a spectacular ocean-view seating area. It also featured an amazing outdoor bathroom. While we saw a water frog and a gecko, we had no major bug issues. This specific suite also comes with monkey protection bars on the outdoor area, keeping larger wildlife out."

"We had a wonderful stay of 5 nights at Yun. The absolute best bit were the staff who were incredibly helpful, efficient and super friendly, without exception The villas are spacious with a really comfy bed and good individual air con. A huge walk in shower and large shelf area for clothes and luggage. The property is a dozen or so individual villas surrounding a courtyard with a beautiful pool and plenty of sun loungers. A la carte breakfast was included and the food was excellent with a great choice of breakfasts, juices, fruit and coffees, all beautifully prepared. Locally there were plenty of restaurants and cafes to walk out to, although they were mostly western or Asian Fusion with not a huge choice of Indonesian food. Noise wise, we had prepared ourselves for a fair bit of noise as Uluwatu has building going on everywhere and the traffic is horrendous. We were very pleasantly surprised though. As the villas are set back and down from the road there was no road noise at all. There was a small amount of building noise on one of the days but not really an issue. At the weekend you can hear the base coming from Ulu Cliff House beach club but again not really an issue and it had stopped altogether by about 2. We would highly recommend staying here, a perfect boutique hotel!"

"Everything was amazing! The views, the rooms, food and staff. Keep in mind if you book in this hotel there is 90 stairs you need to take to arrive and the entrance can be somewhat confusing if is your first time. The hotel provides you a whole menu that you don’t need to leave the hotel, because is soo good and portions and big too. The ocean access is easy and they provide you some activities water that you can do. If you looking for a good accommodation but at the same time keeping the feeling of culture this is your spot. I will recommend this place and will come back."
