"Like the property location very well maintained , washer was a plus"

"We stayed in Room number one. It was incredible. It was such a wonderful experience to stay in a historic building that had modern amenities and a lot of space. The room decorations and sliding doors were beautiful. The living room overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. It was nice to have the communal food area to grab coffee in the morning and a light meal. Be aware that the room entrance for the room is right next to the lobby. "I didn't expect that it would be a whole house just for myself! The service was splendid, very polite and helpful. The house has everything you need, i.e. all the dishes. The interior is traditional and, very comfortable and nice."

"Great experience"

"Excellent location under a 10 minute walk to Shijo station and Nishiki market is steps out your front door. Lots of restaurants and plenty of room for a family of four. The check-in process is the only odd part but it’s not that difficult to navigate if you arrive at Kyoto Station and it’s easy to catch the subway to Shijo station and walk to the property. "Amazing property! The staff at chech-in were so kind and offered to sk"

"I loved how authentic the experience felt and looked, curated by such amazing and sweet souls. "

"This was a unique property to stay at for our Japan trip. The property was beautiful and was definitely an experience I recommend. Staff was so helpful when first arriving. They try their best to explain things, especially with a language barrier for myself. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend anyone to stay here. A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself."
