"Really great hotel. A somewhat residential neighborhood but close to the castle, lots of coffee shops, bakeries, and good restaurants. Was nice to be away from the crazy touristy areas. Our room was enormous with a kitchen and dining area. Plenty of space for 4. No breakfast, but we didn't mind with all the places nearby."

"The staff were extremely helpful, storing luggage, arranging luggage transfers and offering use of their phone for a local call. Kids loved the bunk-beds and it was definitely handy having an in-room washer-dryer. The room was comfortable for a family of 4 but we were disappointed at there being no good views as the hotel is only a few stories high, in a quieter street. I had high expectations due to the Mimaru brand having great reviews especially for families, and while it ticked all the boxes...

"It was a brand new hotel so everything was new. Nice appliances and fixtures. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has free shuttle bus to tourist attractions which saved us time and money. Also very good location for many conveniences. Only issue was that we stayed for 5 nights and room didn't get cleaned as scheduled. "

"Spacious and comfy rooms. However location was a bit isolated and offerings were limited. They were able to accept luggage shipments but unable to help w shipping them—the closest kombini was 10 mins walk so we had to lug all of our suitcases there when we checked out. Otherwise the rooms were pretty comfortable with large common spaces, slightly dated and some had slight odors. They do have a communal coin laundry room which is always busy and packed but a good addition given most rooms (if...

"Dejligt rummeligt værelse med to enkeltsenge og en sovesofa. Eget køkken og fint bad med bruser. Alt i fantastisk stand. Hotellet virker helt nyt. Stedet har en rigtig fin placering med let adgang til Gion, metro, restaurant-områder mv. Ok vaskefaciliteter, som dog er lidt begrænset og den ene af to vaskemaskiner virkede kkke. Ind og udtjekning er via tilsendt kode og qr, men der er venligt og hjælpsomt personale tilstede på hotellet. Vil klart anbefale stedet. "
