"Great location in the old part of town next to the castle and it's surprisingly quiet. There is a lovely courtyard where you can have breakfast if you wish, or simply enjoy the environment. The staff are very friendly and helpful and tea, coffee and water on hand 24/7. There is also a well stocked honesty bar. Whilst there is no restaurant they are some great restaurants nearby for lunch and evening meals."

"The hotel was in a convenient location opposite a bus stop at the top of the hill. Our room was spacious, very clean, and provided with all our needs. Good choice of breakfasts, and evening food if required. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient. No parking, but we didn't need it anyway!"

"Overall the hotel is average. Rooms are small and we could not walk around our room without ducking on the 4th floor due to the walls sloping inward. Additionally, the cable tv barely worked and the tv would go in and out. When you walk into the building we stayed in, you have to take a stairway up to the first floor to get on an elevator. There was a funky smell to the building. A little like sewage or a dead animal, we aren’t sure. The positives were that the room and bathroom were updated and clean. Location is decent. "
