"I found an empty whisky bottle in my bed, which appears to have been left behind by previous guests. This has made me question how thoroughly the room was cleaned, particularly the bed and bedding, before my arrival. It has left me concerned about the hotel’s cleanliness standards and the care taken in preparing the room for new guests."

"I stayed one night, the front desk staff was kind & helpful. I found the cleaning staff requires more training & double checking their work. The first room I was checked into I found hair in the bathroom on the floor on the edge of the tub in the bathroom sink and one large one on the “freshly” made bed. I mentioned this to the front desk staff and quickly moved me & apologized. The room I then had was clean. You could see the bathroom was sprayed down with cleaning products it wasn’t fully...

"The pool & hot tub were great. The location can't be beat. The bird estuary and walk to the wharf were the highlights. Staff were helpful & friendly. The complimentary bikes & kayaks were an extra bonus. Only a few minor issues with our room. The kitchen cabinets were very worn out, kitcgen floor was dirty and it vibrated periodically (maybe A/C duct work?), felt like a small earthquake. "People drinking in the pool area not paying attention to their kids climbing up the slide and throwing footballs around which hit my husband, also they were all sitting around the hot tub not even in the hot tub! Breakfast was okay but I burnt myself really badly on the waffle maker as the waffle got stuck and we had no utensils to get them out other then that great friendly staff and he try accommodating we will definitely be back"
